During a routine inspection in Waterloo NSW our technician located signs of rodent activity along the footpath of the main street. This particular area was located adjacent to a large amount of waste build-up in an alleyway. The waste build-up is a perfect place for rodent harbourage as it contains everything they are looking for:

• Food
• Warmth
• Potential water source

Rodents pose a health risk as they can carry diseases and have the ability to spread that disease anywhere they frequent, in this case it would be the neighbouring homes to the waste build-up. Our technician notified the local authorities about the issue and recommended that the area be cleaned up before this issue affects anyone.
